Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has died
The Town Council and the people of Woodstock are deeply saddened to hear the news of the death of Her Majesty the Queen. The flag on the Town Hall is being flown at half-mast and a Book of Condolences has been opened in the Town Hall. This will be accessible on Friday 9th September until 6pm and the following week between 9am – 1pm in the Town Hall foyer for those who wish to pay their respects.
There is also a Book of Condolences in St Mary Magdalene’s Church and there will be an e-Book of Condolence also available on website http://royal.uk/royal-family.
A designated area will be marked out in front of the Town Hall for those who wish to pay their respects by laying flowers – but please no plastic wrapping.
