WODC are currently distributing the Governments £150 council tax rebate for households in council tax bands A-D that are to help with increased energy costs. We are working as fast as possible to distribute the money.
So far we have made over 24,700 payments to residents who pay their council tax by direct debit.
For those who don’t pay by direct debit, we will be contacting you by letter with information on how to apply and provide us with the information we need to make the payment. If you are elgible please look out for the letter and respond as soon as possible.
For those not eligible for the original rebate, we are setting up a separate scheme to help those who need it most. We will publish information about this scheme on our website and other channels as soon as it is available.
