Woodstock U3A

Woodstock U3A (University of the 3rd Age) features monthly speaker meetings, on a wide variety of subjects.  Normally held in Woodstock Community Centre, New Road.  During lockdown meetings are accessible on-line.  There are also over 20 lively Interest groups meeting weekly or monthly; interests range from Art to Scrabble, Bridge to Science.  The U3A brings together people in their ‘third age’ to develop and enjoy shared interests in a friendly and informal environment. Woodstock Relief in Need Charity

Most of our funds are either raised through holding coffee mornings or donations. We then distribute to elderly people (residing in Woodstock) at Christmas, in the form of vouchers, e.g. Co-Op food vouchers. Occasionally we will make a donation to the local almshouses & elderly residential community sheltered housing.
